Are you a foreigner and you are planning to get married in Poland?

If you are a citizen of the countries where the legislation does not provide a document that proves the right to marry according to national law, then you have the right to submit a court permit that relieves you of this obligation. It can be obtained by a district court in non-litigious proceedings (in the city of your residence).
Remember about the list of attachments to your application, like for example: copy of your passport, your birth certificate (original and its translation into polish by sworn translator, birth certificate of your future husband/wife, stamp duty: 100 PLN)
