This city is loved by travelers, thanks to developed tourist infrastructure, interesting architectural monuments and history that carry us in different epochs of the past. In 1354 the settlement of Rzesz\u00f3w received city rights and privileges. In the 16<sup>th<\/sup> century the defender of the city became the Knight of Rzeszow <em>(Rzeszowski<\/em>), from whom the modern name of the city started.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>The Lyubomirsky castle<\/em> is one of the most prominent architectural monuments of the city. It was built in the late 16<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211; early 17<sup>th<\/sup> centuries. The founder of the Castle was the governor Miko\u0142aj Spytek Lig\u0119za. The castle is located near the city center. In 1820, the Austrian authorities rebuilt the complex and adapted it for judicial and prison purposes. Today, after numerous constructions, only the gates of the tower and the towers of the bastions are preserved in its original form.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The historic part of the city is centered on the medieval <em>Market Square<\/em>. The Town Hall, which was rebuilt in the 19<sup>th<\/sup> century and an ancient well are the parts of the Square. The Town Hall was built in 1591 and is the tallest building on the Square. In the basements of the Town Hall fragments of old walls and vaults are discovered. There are many cafes, pubs and souvenir shops on the Market Square.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Underground <\/em>stretches under the Market Square and nearby stone houses. In the times of the prosperity of the trade, merchants hid goods from all over the world there. During wars it served as a shelter for the local population. In the 20<sup>th<\/sup> century there were underground shops, where people, especially Jews, sold colonial goods. Today, this mysterious maze is part of the museum, and you can visit it with a guide. The underground tourist route is about 340 meters long and consists of 50 basements, and the lowest part is at the depth of 10 meters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There is a monument to Tadeusz Nalepa in Rzesz\u00f3w.\u00a0 Tadeusz Nalepa is the father of the Polish blues. The blues performer is pictured with a guitar in his hand. Perhaps, his fans remembered their favourite guitarist, \u00a0singer and composer in such way.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you have enough free time then you should also visit:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Bernardine Monastery Complex (1536, XVII century)<\/li>\n<li>The church of Virgin Mary the Queen of Poland (1715)<\/li>\n<li>The church of the Ascension of the Virgin Mary (1889)<\/li>\n<li>The church of St. Joseph (1902-1904)<\/li>\n<li>The church of the Holy Cross (1644-1649)<\/li>\n<li>The church of St. Stanislaw and St. Wojciech (XVII cent.)<\/li>\n<li>Semashkova\u2019s Theater (1890-1900)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Castles and Palaces:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The summer Palace of Lyubomyrsky Family (XVIII century)<\/li>\n<li>The Palace of the Endjeevich Family (1879-1883)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And of course, the museums:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Diocesan Museum, Zamkowa St. 4<\/li>\n<li>Local History Museum, 3<sup>rd<\/sup> May St.19<\/li>\n<li>Museum of the Lullaby, Mickiewicza St. 13<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The city of Rzesz\u00f3w has developed network of shopping centers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There is an airport in Rzesz\u00f3w. By the number of passengers, the airport has the 8th place in Poland. The airport is situated in few kilometers from the city center. Rzeszow-Jasionka airport has modern runways that serve for national and international flights. The airport has flights to New York, London, Dublin and other cities around the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">So, what else can you see there? Nothing instead of \u00a0large shopping centers, beautiful churches, nice ancient squares and streets, but the city is a perfect place for those who seek a calm and aesthetic rest.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">From Lublin to Rzesz\u00f3w you can get by bus or by train. You may buy a bus ticket at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.e-podroznik.pl\/\">https:\/\/www.e-podroznik.pl\/<\/a>.
