The Magicians\u2019 Carnival<\/em> is a festival known throughout Poland and Europe. The carnival has been the hallmark of the city for ten years, attracting hundreds of residents and tourists every year. The festival turned city into a place of illusion and magic during four days. The Magicians\u2019 Carnival<\/em> is a time of crazy shows that combine elements of theater and modern circus.<\/p>\n

During those days Lublin was a huge scene of the great exciting events. The audience became the witness of the unusual circus performances that took place around the city. The street and circus artists from many different countries\u00a0 has visited Lublin. They have shown magical and fascinating shows.<\/p>\n

The highlight of the Carnival program was the show on the Castle Square. The French band \u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Les Lendemains & Les Philebuliste<\/em><\/strong> \u00a0performed an unusual acrobatic program, using a flying trapeze called “La Tangente du bras tendu”<\/em>. Such famous bands as Soka Tira<\/em><\/strong> \u00a0and Cie Basinga<\/em><\/strong> also visited the carnival. The audience was able to see very interesting circus performance – walking on a rope.<\/p>\n

Lublin\u2019s citizens and guests were able to see four different paid performances. The most extravagant of them were:<\/p>\n

Bram Graafland’s “The Yelling Kitchen Prince”<\/strong> – a fantastic one-man show. It was a musical interpretation of the cuisine theme. The show was shown in the courtyard of Oleina Street 6.<\/p>\n

Barosolo \u201ePlus Haut\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 – a puppets show. That was a great performance of six French artists. The audience had a chance to see the magnificent performance with large size beautiful puppets, nice music and poetic atmosphere.<\/p>\n

More than 20 different bands from Poland and other countries around the world visited the Magicians\u2019 Carnival in Lublin during those four days. Citizens and guests of Lublin had a chance to see more than one hundred free performances around the city. The audience enjoyed the performances of comedians, jugglers and illusionists. Visitors to the carnival listened to live music that was an important part for the Magicians\u2019 Carnival 2019<\/em> program.<\/p>\n

The Carnival\u2019s events took place in the heart of the city, the Old Town. The festival was held on the very high level. Do not miss the opportunity to visit the carnival next year.<\/p>\n
