FIFA U-20 World Cup

In May, 2019 Poland hosts 22nd edition of the FIFA U-20 World Cup and Lublin is among 6 Polish cities hosting the tournament. There were only 2 countries participating in the bidding process. Finally, in 2018 FIFA Council rejected the Indian bid and announced Poland as the successful hosts of the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
During May 23 – June 15, 2019, together with Bielsko-Biała, Bydgoszcz, Gdynia, Łódź and Tychy our city will be a place full of football emotions. It is a great chance for fans to enjoy a real football feast at Arena Lublin. A total of 9 matches will be played at the stadium (besides 1/8 finals and semi-final).

Moreover, Arena Lublin will host semi-final matches on June 3 and 4 at 17:30 and semi-finals on June 11 at 20:30. Ticket prices range from 10 to 20 zlotys for group stage matches and 20-30 zlotys for semi-final matches. Tickets are available on the website www.fifa.com. All the matches will be broadcasted on Polish Television (TVP).

The public transport is the best way to get to the stadium Arena Lublin, which is located at 1 Stadionowa Street, Lublin. You can use the following bus lines: No. 1, 13, 30, 34, 45 and trolleybus lines No. 152, 154, 161. Besides, there will be a special “Arena” bus line available throughout the event. Remember that if you have a ticket for a particular match you will be able to use public transports free of charge on the day of that match.
