OMBUDSMAN

He stands for freedom and human and civil rights. In addition, he protects the implementation of the principles of equal treatment and examines whether as a result of action or omission of public authorities, there has been no violation of the law, principles of cohabitation and social justice and whether there has been any discrimination.

Who can get help from Ombudsman? Polish citizens or foreigners (living in Poland), as well as group of citzens or organisation whose rights were breached.

Application to Ombudsman has any form and it is free of charge.

It should include: Name and surname,
Adress (street, home number, postal code and city), Subject of the case.
You should attach all neccessary documents, evidences.
– Your application mustn’t be anonimous;
-Ombudsman doesn’t replace other administration body;
– You should use all possible instances;
-It doesn’t resolve the conflict between citizens what is under competence of court;.
