Do you know what a “foodshare” is? This is a place where you can leave excess of your food or take something if you need it. How does it work? The rule is simple: anyone who wants to, can leave food products in a specially designated place. Of course, this cannot be spoiled products or such as raw meat, eggs, unpasteurized milk – it must be food with a long shelf life – a kind of food one would like to eat himself. For the first time such a place was opened in Poland in 2016 in Warsaw. Then such “foodsharing” places were created in other Polish cities. In Lublin, such a place is located at al. Tysiąclecia at the market box No. 97 and is open between 08:00 and 17:00.
