The Rule of Law Wants You to Know!
It could be the first governmental or nongovernmental organization in Eastern Poland, which wrote and published that many books dedicated to foreigners. Knowing your rights and obligations has made a priority for our Foundation aiming at introducing foreigners and refugees to their rights and duties while living in Poland. Here are few examples of those publications:
- Welcome to Poland, What? Where? When?;
- Acquisition of Polish citizenship.
- Rights and Obligations of Migrants Living in the Republic of Poland;
- Rights and Duties of Refugees in Poland;
- Rights and Duties of the Citizens of Third Countries in Poland;
- The Lublin Migration Handbook;
- Rights and Duties of the Citizens of Third Countries in Poland and Rights and Duties of Foreigners.
These are samples of the Foundation’s major concern to provide the legal bases for foreigners to guarantee taking their full rights on the one hand, and making sure that they will implement their part of the pact on the other hand.
Moreover, at our Foundation, you can take most of these publications for free, and you can borrow some of them to read for a month period. In line with its policies to strengthen the rule of law in Poland and Europe, the Foundation has been working to develop its diversified library since 2009 where, today, it holds more than 1300 books that cover different fields ok knowledge. Students from all universities of Lublin come to our library to borrow books and spend time reading in it. It has a big section of Polish publications, and a good number of English ones.
Long-term Residence of Foreigners in Poland is one example of the 2014 publications that orbit foreigners. As for the last fresh publication
Acquis Return, The Experience of the Implementation and Development of the Return Policy of the European Union (2015); It is still hot from the printery! Any legal inquiry you may encounter concerning your stay in Poland, residence cards, work permission, and being granted the refugee status or subsidiary protection, you will find them between the pages of those books; or, if you don’t like reading, you can directly inquire from our qualified staff of lawyers at the Rule of Law Institute Foundation.
