Did you know that one of the world’s oldest salt mines – the Salt Mine in Wieliczka (Kopalnia Soli Wieliczka) is in Poland. It was built in the XIII century. It is a corridor and gallery of seven underground levels at a depth of 57 m to 198 m with a total length of over 200 km. The salt mine has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1978.
