Polish language courses

He who owns the information, owns the world, and he who has the knowledge of foreign languages, opens up a wide range of the world.

This statement reveals in full life abroad. Moving to another country is always a kind of challenge. Foreign language can be a barrier for complete and normal living in a new country. It is especially important for those who are coming for the purpose of study or work. Language plays an important role in everyday life.

There is a widespread belief that when you are set in “extreme conditions”, you can quickly learn foreign language. Unfortunately, in reality it is not so perfect. After my arriving to Poland I faced this problem. I had many problems here without proper knowledge of the language, so I decided that something should be done with this. And then I found these Polish language coursessays student Vira.

There are many EU programs that are focused on helping foreigners. Polish language courses are the main points of many projects’ programs. Language courses, we had visited, took place in the framework of the project Migrant! Login:Lublin

Courses began in October and ended in May, so they lasted full academic year. We got a free set of textbooks for studying Polish language. We got a lot of useful information from these books. I have a positive impression of the course, because I’ve got a rich baggage of grammatical knowledge that helped me to identify the main problems in Polish grammar to which I should pay attention – tells Alex.

Polish language courses were divided into two levels. There were mainly Ukrainians, but also citizens from Russia and Albania in the group. The A1 level textbook – Polski Jest Cool was used during our studies in the first group. The complex grammar of Polish language becomes more clearly understood through thoughtful enclosed materials. The main task of these Polish courses is to train the communication skills on topics of everyday life, education, employment, and social relations – says Mrs. Marzena.

I am impressed by  high professional level of our teacher, Mrs. Marzena. She managed to find out the way to each of us. Each session took place in a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Materials of the lectures were easily and quickly remembered. We were able to discuss various topics of interest even with a minimal vocabulary – student Vasil shares his positive opinion with us.

It is obviously, that the group with higher knowledge of language could have discussions on more serious topics. Moreover, there were quite a lot of people who want to and love to discuss many topics. In this group we worked with Anna Seretny textbook Kto czyta – nie błądzi. Knowledge that students received at our course, gave them the opportunity to communicate at the same level as the Poles does – says Mrs. Marzena.

At each session we did different tasks, read texts, and discussed issues that really helped us to increase knowledge of the Polish language at a conversational level – says Alex.

Courses were held at very convenient time. One of the disadvantages of the course is constantly flashing lamp in the room – shares his impressions student Oleg.

Learning the language was also formed on the tolerance to the culture of the language and interest in it. At the process of studying foreign language, the best ally is curiosity. Another advantage of these courses is that they are completely free. For students this is a real godsend.
